image details

Description:
St.Giles' Church in Newcastle-under-Lyme was originally built in 1721 and existed as we see it in this photograph until 1872. In 1872 the Church was demolished with the exception of the Church Tower. Between 1873 and 1876 a new Church was built onto the tower and it is that Church that still remains today.
