Description:
One of a series of 15 plates, facsimilies of an illuminated manuscript held by the British Museum. Bible 12th century, Flemish, believed to be the 'Tres Belle Bible' seen at the Abbey of Floreffe by the BenedictinesMartene and Durand in 1718 (Voyage Litteraire, 1724, p. 124).
